Mr Stuart Hall

Stuart has been a Chartered Accountant for 40 years, running his own practice for 34 of those. 

He has also been actively involved with several other manufacturing businesses, other service entities, start-ups, and goldmining ventures. Specifically, he was: Chairman & Director of the largest sports and physical injury multidisciplinary medical practice in Victoria; Chairman and Director of the multimillion dollar dry foods manufacturing business, supplying national and multi-national household name brand owners with their products, from start-up of the business to the eventual sale; Director of a major Melbourne Insurance Broking firm; and, Director of a large Eastern Suburbs private hospital.

In the mining sector, and alongside David Wright, Stuart assisted with the initial capital raising for the Fosterville Mine in Central Victoria, completing feasibility, capital raise and successful project completion of an open cut gold mine and rehabilitation in Jamaica; the only successful mine of this nature in the country’s history. He also assisted with the planning and execution of a successful alluvial gold mine and rehabilitation in Amherst, Victoria. During the past three decades he has assisted with several other mining projects in Victoria. 

Stuart brings expertise and experience in Management Accounting for SMEs and their tax requirements.

His vast knowledge and experience in many and varied business operations, including mining and rehabilitation, is a valuable resource to the Board of Huntly. He and David Wright are the company’s majority shareholders.
