An investment of around $15 million per annum into the community with minimal disruption to everyday life during the process, and further economic benefits for the area.
Restoring country and cultural practices, preserving cultural heritage, protecting values, and the reintroduction of the Aboriginal farming practices of native grasses and vegetation.
Remediation and restoration of land currently contaminated and infertile, restoration of wetlands, retaining of trees in the original soil and ecology, and safe off-site extraction of contaminants from tailings.
Increased future biodiversity of flora and fauna, replacement of endangered species, restoring the waterways, and the creation of a more valuable ecology.
